Awards

IPÊ has been recognized in recent years with several awards for its innovative work. Notable among these are: Social Technology Award of the Banco do Brasil Foundation, Rolex Award, Forbes Award, Gazeta Mercantil Award, Jornal do Brasil Award and the Whitley Gold Award (considered the international Oscar for environmental conservation). In 2003, the Institute was one winner of the Bem EficientePrize, which recognizes the fifty best administered organizations in Brazil. Among the other national and international awards are:
